Bearing form refers to the bearing form used by air-cooled radiator fans. In mechanical engineering, there are many kinds of bearings, but only several kinds of radiator products are used:
1. Oil bearing with sliding friction (sleeve bearing) is used.
2. Use ball bearings with rolling friction.
3. A mixture of the above two bearing forms.
Each type of bearing is divided into many types according to different technologies, such as single ball bearings and double ball bearings. Of course, in recent years, the major radiator manufacturers have introduced new bearing technology, so we have more and more common bearing types! Magnetic floating bearing, water wave bearing, magnetic core bearing, etc. Also by improving the basic form of bearings, the operating principle has not changed. Ordinary air-cooled radiator mainly uses oil-bearing and ball bearing.
Oil-bearing is a sleeve bearing that uses sliding friction. Lubricating oil is used as lubricant and drag reducer. It has low operating noise and low manufacturing cost in early use, but the bearing is severely worn and has a longer life than the ball bearing. In addition, due to the reasons of oil seal (computer radiator products can not use advanced oil seal, generally ordinary paper oil seal), lubricating oil is gradually volatile, dust also into the bearing, fan speed becomes slow, noise and other problems, serious is bearing wear caused by fan eccentric violent vibration. These phenomena, open the oil seal to refuel, or can only eliminate the purchase of a new fan.
